Since 2012, Dr. Hosack has been the owner and manager of Vision Associates of Erie County, providing personalized vision services to the people of West County.  Our experienced doctor and staff offer comprehensive eye examinations and are trained at detection and treatment of a wide range of eye diseases, conditions and problems.  Our knowledgeable and courteous staff have over 35 years of optical experience and our Focus is your Vision! 

About Dr. Emily Hosack | 
Dr. Emily Hosack, OD is a Lake City Pennsylvania native who graduated from Girard High School.   She went on to attend Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.  From there, Dr. Hosack earned her doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2011.  Upon graduation, Dr. Hosack returned home to practice.  In 2012 she purchased Vision Associates in downtown Girard, PA.  Dr. Hosack considers herself fortunate that she is able to treat and serve patients within her own hometown community.  Dr. Hosack resides in Lake City with her husband and two young sons.  

Eye Care for the Family

Full service eye care practice.  We  provide comprehensive eye exams, pediatric eye exams, dry eye treatment, diabetic eye exams, contact lenses for adults & children as well as bi-focal contact lenses and glaucoma treatment.

Contact Lenses & Glasses

We offer over 500 frames in office and can select order a variety of other options to fit your style and needs.  Our contact lens selection is also extensive so that we can ensure all our patients receive the exact fit they need for optimal comfort.

Emergency Eye Care

Dr. Hosack provides emergency care as well as evening hours to ensure all patients have access for all their eye care needs.  Emergencies do happen, and you only get one pair of eyes. Vision Associates will be there if the need for emergency care arises.
